Ponerology

The dictionary defines as:

n. division of theology dealing with evil; theological doctrine of wickedness or evil; from the Greek: poneros meaning 'evil'.

The Polish psychologist Andrew M. Lobaczewski wrote a book entitled:
'Political Ponerology: A science on the nature of evil'.

Dr. Lobaczewski's book did not study the nature of evil from a theological perspective (as is given in the above definition) but rather he undertook an objective scientific study on the nature of evil based on it's representation within the world of psychopathy and politics.
